ONE IN A MILLION Independent Film

Julia Roberts' VP of Production is a strong contender on backdrop of NASCAR. Hope all is great in your world. Wanted to introduce myself and give you a little update on what I have going.

Warner Brothers is in the process of picking up domestic rights for my first film "ExTerminators" and is due out in theaters this summer or fall.

I also have a western in post-production right now called "The Legend of Hell's Gate, an American Conspiracy" that has a great cast and is gaining a lot of buzz with distributors.

My partner Suzanne Weinert who was VP of Julia Roberts' Shoelace productions is producing my directorial debut on "One in a Million". (Synopsis below) This is not your typical race film and is standing out because of that.

I'm starting talks with several new companies and they all feel the material and package can easily handle a bigger name lead. Channing Tatum's name keeps coming up the most.

Before these new talks I was looking at attaching Kellan Lutz and/or Taylor Kitsch ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine", "The Covenant", "Snakes on a Plane", "John Tucker Must Die", up-coming releases: "John Carter of Mars", playing John Carter, and "The Bang Bang Club". Also plays Tim Riggins on "Friday Night Lights") to the lead roles.

I have a company that is ready to finance but they want 94% ownership. So as we continue negotiations with them we are seeking out other opportunities.

Our budget is $3.4m, shooting in Austin, Texas with top tier crew ready and willing to bend over backwards for me on this film.

We also just received word from the Texas Motor Speedway a major NASCAR / INDY track that we can use their facility for free and are also offering their school cars and drivers to us ultimately saving us a lot of money while keeping the action true to the sport.

"One in a Million" is garnering a ton of interest because it's not your typical racing movie. It's a smart, psychological drama, the kind of film that typically doesn't have a massive built in audience like the world of motor sports.

Synopsis: ONE IN A MILLION is a small town journey of a young man with all of the talent in the world and the world in the palm of his hand, yet struggling with OCD and alcoholism brought on by the death of his parents when he was a young boy.

At times it’s a comic yet heartfelt glimpse into how he copes with and manages his issues while trying his hardest to hide it from the start up NASCAR team he so desperately wants to join.

The sports psychologist he is forced to work with and loathes, is the first one in his life to finally break through all of the crazy antics and abuse only to pull out of him the most horrific thought any of us could ever imagine being faced with; the lifelong feeling of being responsible for your own parents’ death.

ONE IN A MILLION is standing on it’s own as it will rip your heart out and slowly hand it back to you with two surprises at the end that you never saw coming.

I would love for you to take a look, I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

All the best,

I had no idea it was feasible to get a handle on film finance myself and was really inspired to see that I don't have to be a writer hawking scripts until I die, I could actually make the film.quoted text
