The Horrific Film Fest was established in 2008 in San Antonio, TX to provide opportunities to indie filmmakers around the world. Our film fest is always the last 4 days of the month of August from - Thurs to Sun.

Filmmakers compete in different categories:
Best Feature,
Best Short,
Best SFX,
Best Actor,
Best Actress.

Filmmakers from around the world compete not only for our custom made chainsaw trophy, but to get a Distribution deal!. We also have different types of events and seminars and a Hollywood Celebrity quest.
