April Fools will be a 90-minute comedy feature about a superstitious New Yorker whose day is stricken with bad luck on April 1st after a psychic makes the prediction. The trailer was winner of the People's Choice Best Romantic Comedy in the International Movie Trailer Festival.
Writer/Director Edna Harris decided to make the trailer to give investors a glimpse of her screenplay. Harris has worked as a indie writer/director/producer with a PBS project that aired from 2004-2007. She directed her first short movie at age 10 with her family's "video camera". She also worked as an actress on Broadway and recorded several voice-overs and jingles for commercials. She is also a stand-up comic.
Harris company Harris Trio Productions has been given a "hold to screen" for April Fools by a distributor once the film is completed, and we are currently seeking funding from investors for the project which can be shot on a 1M dollar budget.

Just want to thank you for your materials and help over the past year. I could not have raised the $1.5 million or made this film without the materials you provided -- and for $99? The bargain of my career!
This is perfect! I have potential investors but I had no idea how to prepare a professional investment package to present to them. (I'm an artiste', not a business person. :) ) The information is clear and easy to understand, and Melissa is very prompt in answering emails.

Hi Melissa! I purchased Package #3 a couple of days ago, and I feel like I'm taking a crash course in film financing. So far, what I've read and learned has been invaluable. Thank you!
I've made short films before, but this is my first feature, and the first film I've tried raising money for. This template, actually the whole package, has been invaluable and well worth the money I spent on it. So much information is packed into what I got that I'm almost dizzy from it all.
