The Glendale International Film Festival is an exciting national and international film festival in the beautiful City of Glendale, California, all film makers are welcome. Our wonderful venue is the MGN FIVE STAR CINEMA, where you can have dinner and a movie, relax in comfortable reclining chairs, eat and drink and make merry! Special awards are given to film makers residing in the Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena and Los Angeles areas. International, national and local films are invited as well as web series, short shorts, new media animation and student films.

This festival is dedicated to the memory of SCOTT J. FOSTER of Idyllwild, California who was the inspiration for the creation of this festival. Scott recently passed away, but will live on in this festival. A special award is being presented in his honor "THE SCOTT J. FOSTER AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN FILM MAKING."

And a Screenplay Contest with a cash award for BEST SCREENPLAY!

Each film that is submitted is watched from beginning to end by our programmers and judges, so you know you will receive proper consideration of your creative work.

The best part of the Glendale International Film Festival is that all of our awards will be cash awards and be presented by our sponsors. Your award will consist of a certificate with the name of your film and a nice check!
