Hybrids | Independent Film Pitch
When two Vampitch hybrid siblings – half vampire, half witch – run away from home, their Vampire and Witch parents and old-fashioned, estranged grandparents must come together to help locate them before their secret is discovered.
VELENA and her brother BLAZ are teenaged siblings in a different type of mixed marriage household. Their dad TODOR is a vampire and son of THE COUNT, and their mother VALANTINA is the daughter of ARADIA, the leader of a very powerful coven of witches. Which makes Velana and Blaz the first Vampitch Hybrids.
When the siblings awake from their hibernation before their parents and realize they now encompass hybrid powers, they decide to run away to southern California to enjoy the nice weather – and find their next victims. Blaz turns to a small college, while Velena takes on a new form and blends in at a home for senior citizens.
When Todor and Valantina awaken to find the children gone, they use their powers to try and locate them. But when they are unable to do so, they enlist the help of their respective parents – neither of which approved of the mixed marriage to begin with. Overcoming their differences, the parents and estranged grandparents come together on an adventure to find the kids before their secret abilities are discovered and their lives put in danger.
I believe the timely social message mixed with the family comedy and horror fun in “Hybrids” will appeal to wide, multi-generational audiences. Please let me know if I can send you the script, and thank for your time and consideration.

Just want to thank you for your materials and help over the past year. I could not have raised the $1.5 million or made this film without the materials you provided -- and for $99? The bargain of my career!
This is perfect! I have potential investors but I had no idea how to prepare a professional investment package to present to them. (I'm an artiste', not a business person. :) ) The information is clear and easy to understand, and Melissa is very prompt in answering emails.
When I came across the Business Plan Tools and the Finance Guide, I felt like I could stop searching for the pot of gold...I’d found it. In one place, with clear, easy to follow materials and spreadsheets, my questions were answered.
Hi Melissa! I purchased Package #3 a couple of days ago, and I feel like I'm taking a crash course in film financing. So far, what I've read and learned has been invaluable. Thank you!
I've made short films before, but this is my first feature, and the first film I've tried raising money for. This template, actually the whole package, has been invaluable and well worth the money I spent on it. So much information is packed into what I got that I'm almost dizzy from it all.
