Kansas City FilmFest (KC Jubilee)

Kansas City FilmFest (formerly Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee) is an annual juried celebration of independent filmmaking with screenings, seminars, panels, workshops and receptions. In April each year, the festival was started in 1997. In 2011 the festival is April 6-10.

Begun as a shorts festival, we now screen both shorts and features from around the world. Special programs include: CinemaJAZZ, Crosscut: Women Making Movies, and Reel Spirit (youth filmmaking program).

Call for entries deadlines: 9/15/2010, 12/15/2010. 1/15/2011 & 2/4/2011. Fees vary by date and type of feature or short.
