LOG LINE: After terminating her pregnancy and failed marriage to go on a mission to a distant planet, a tenacious first-time Captain seeks personal redemption. She finds it–––while locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse with an alien menace.
TAGLINE: "there are some places in the universe we should NOT boldly go"
SYNOPSIS: Peril is the first chapter in a futuristic trilogy about mankind's evolution and journey into deep space. In this sci-fi action thriller, Vanessa Bains a tenacious and ambitious first-time Captain struggles with her decision to terminate her pregnancy and failed marriage for a once in a lifetime opportunity to mine a distant planet.
Seeking redemption for choosing the mission over building her family she finds herself on an extraordinary journey into deep space. While on the mission, Bains must lead a crew who resents her for replacing their beloved first Captain.
Things begin to unravel horribly when a series of mysterious equipment and systems' failures leads them to mistrust one another. Much worst, the crew soon discovers that they are being stalked by a malevolent alien menace bent on their destruction. In order to survive, Captain Vanessa Bains must keep her crew together and send out an intergalactic distress signal–––what responds will changer her forever. Sometimes redemption is the beginning of a bigger journey.
Peril is a sci-fi action thriller I wrote after graduating from film school. It is in the vein of classic films like "Alien", "Blade Runner", and "2001: A Space Odyssey" with a modern twist.
Peril is the first chapter in a trilogy. The underlining plot of Peril, Perilous, and Peril: Evolution is that mankind existed thousands of years before our earliest records. He evolved, left Earth and settled in a distant galaxy where he encounters a malevolent alien race. In Peril, we are introduced to that malevolent alien race and our ancestors.
This project is at ground level. We have an A-list actress reviewing the script for the lead character Captain Vanessa Bains. For more details please contact us.

Just want to thank you for your materials and help over the past year. I could not have raised the $1.5 million or made this film without the materials you provided -- and for $99? The bargain of my career!
This is perfect! I have potential investors but I had no idea how to prepare a professional investment package to present to them. (I'm an artiste', not a business person. :) ) The information is clear and easy to understand, and Melissa is very prompt in answering emails.
When I came across the Business Plan Tools and the Finance Guide, I felt like I could stop searching for the pot of gold...I’d found it. In one place, with clear, easy to follow materials and spreadsheets, my questions were answered.
Hi Melissa! I purchased Package #3 a couple of days ago, and I feel like I'm taking a crash course in film financing. So far, what I've read and learned has been invaluable. Thank you!
I've made short films before, but this is my first feature, and the first film I've tried raising money for. This template, actually the whole package, has been invaluable and well worth the money I spent on it. So much information is packed into what I got that I'm almost dizzy from it all.
