The Handyman Independent Film Pitch The Handyman David LeMoyne as The Handyman The Handyman at Work

From Jay Johnson, the award-winning Director of Will Work For Food, comes the new feature film The Handyman. Starring David LeMoyne, this film is inspired by the horrifying true story of alleged Cleveland serial killer Anthony Sowell. The Handyman is a fictional story that explores how a man could kill eleven women without being noticed in the middle of a big city neighborhood.

Didn't the neighbors see anything, or were they afraid to get involved? How come the police didn't follow up on so many rape and ?missing persons cases? Was that horrible smell coming from the sausage shop next door??

To be shot in stunning HD, The Handyman paints an eerie picture of a lone main living a quiet life while methodically killing and hiding the bodies of local troubled women, in a city that seems to turn a blind eye.

The Handyman feature film will be an expansion of the character study done in Jay's short film by the same name. After watching the short, one viewer commented, "At first I thought, I don't really want to watch or support a film about such an atrocious crime/criminal. It seems like sensationalism? As I watched, I was unable to take my eyes off this movie, I felt differently. This is a vitally important story to tell."
