Cinereach Film Grant
Production & Financing, Feature, Non Fiction
Cinereach is an independent film company dedicated to vital, artful filmmaking. As a philanthropic organization, Cinereach helps expand its films' creative potential by offering adaptive development, financing, production, and other support models that align with the unique vision of each supported filmmaker.
Production & Financing: Cinereach develops, produces, and finances several projects each year. The company also co-finances and co-produces with other production companies, co-financiers and investors using traditional film financing structures such as equity or debt financing.
Grants: Each year Cinereach awards 20-30 grants - comprising over $1 million - to new and existing grantees. Grant amounts ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 can be awarded to support any stage of a film's progression, from development to completion. Throughout its engagement with grantees, Cinereach may also offer additional resources to increase the films' momentum.
Cinereach develops, produces, finances, and supports feature-length fiction, nonfiction and hybrid films crafted for the big screen. The organization looks for projects (at any stage) that create deep and lasting impressions through story, character, or cinematic approach; and seeks to work with both unknown and established filmmakers who may face creative, financial or systemic obstacles to realizing ambitious visions.
Cinereach accepts project submissions on a rolling basis through an online portal. Projects eligible for consideration must be feature-length (over 60 minutes), and intended for theatrical exhibition. We do not currently consider short films (under 60 minutes), serialized or episodic work, web series, virtual or augmented reality, or other immersive/interactive work.

Just want to thank you for your materials and help over the past year. I could not have raised the $1.5 million or made this film without the materials you provided -- and for $99? The bargain of my career!
This is perfect! I have potential investors but I had no idea how to prepare a professional investment package to present to them. (I'm an artiste', not a business person. :) ) The information is clear and easy to understand, and Melissa is very prompt in answering emails.
When I came across the Business Plan Tools and the Finance Guide, I felt like I could stop searching for the pot of gold...I’d found it. In one place, with clear, easy to follow materials and spreadsheets, my questions were answered.
Hi Melissa! I purchased Package #3 a couple of days ago, and I feel like I'm taking a crash course in film financing. So far, what I've read and learned has been invaluable. Thank you!
I've made short films before, but this is my first feature, and the first film I've tried raising money for. This template, actually the whole package, has been invaluable and well worth the money I spent on it. So much information is packed into what I got that I'm almost dizzy from it all.
